FAQs

Do you have equipment available to use, such as pallet trucks?

Yes, we have multiple pallet trucks, trolleys and cages to help you get your belongings in & out of your unit, all of which are always available free of charge.

How secure is the site?

Our sites are covered by a 24 hour CCTV system and protected by a police response BT redcare Grade 3 burglar and fire alarm system. For added peace of mind all our units come with up to £1,000 of free insurance and a site manager is around during opening hours to keep their eye on things.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Cash, Cheque and all major Debit & Credit Cards. If you are planning on staying for more than a month, most of our customers choose to go onto a monthly direct debit for ease, although the choice is yours.

What size are the storage units?

We have units in the following sizes: 16, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 square foot – so whatever your requirements, we have a option to suit you.

How much space will I need?

This depends on what it is you are storing. Our Size Guide will give you a rough idea of what each of the units will hold, however if you would like a more detailed idea then please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to discuss your individual situation.

What do I need to have with me to move in?

One form of photographic ID, a padlock (either bring your own or buy one from our store) and a method of payment.

Do you have a loading area?

Yes, we have a large indoor loading area right next to the units, so you can stay warm and dry whilst you load/unload your vehicle – even if your vehicle is a removals truck.

Is parking available?

Yes, we have ample free parking available on site.

Do I have to give you notice when I want to move out?

No, it is company policy to keep things simple. When you wish to leave, simply turn up on the day, inform the site manager that you would like to terminate your rental agreement and move your possessions out, it’s that simple. The site manager will then sort out a refund for any unused weeks that you may have paid for.

I am a business – can I reclaim the VAT on my storage charges?

Yes, we provide full VAT invoices and can invoice for any length of time to suit you.

Do I have to sign up for a minimum length?

No, we rent our units by the week and there is no minimum contract or notice period. If you want to stay for just one week then that’s fine with us and you won’t get penalised for doing so. There are no admin fees or moving in fees when you sign up.

Do I need to make an appointment to visit/collect my goods?

No, you can come and go as often as you like during our opening hours, which are weekdays 9:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 10:00 – 16:00.

Do you sell boxes?

Yes, we sell small and medium sized boxes in our site receptions. We also stock bubble wrap, tape, marker pens and padlocks.
